About

The Association of Directors of Adult Social Care (ADASS) Yorkshire and Humber is the regional branch of the national ADASS, which is a charity which aims to further the interests of people in need of Adult Social Care by promoting high standards of social care services.

Our members are the Directors of Adult Social Care from the 14 unitary and 1 county council in the Yorkshire and Humber region:

https://www.adass.org.uk/community/yorkshire-and-humberside-region

Our members work collaboratively to respond successfully to national policy initiatives, statutory requirements and to improve adult social care services to the people of Yorkshire and Humber.

Much of the work is delivered through learning and development networks, events, master classes and peer to peer support and challenge initiatives.

Our members provide leadership to the regional priorities contained within our annual work programme and chair a number of regional groups and networks. Further details of our activities can be found in our regional account which can be found in Resources. Our members also represent the region at national networks, meetings and take national lead roles on specific issues.
